As Brooklyn Museum show come to an end, CRAFT | BROOKLYN at the new Brooklyn Expo is on the near horizon, just in time for Christmas shopping. Thank you so much for all who came to my booth at the Museum, and those who gave my monsters a new home. The Museum show was gorgeous, and we said goodbye to many one-of-a-kind wood-fired pieces, but I’ll have a selection of them at the Expo, along with the new gem glazes (like this “Shell” double espresso cup) and some surprises, currently in the kiln. Keep an eye on the blog and my facebook event page for images.
If you were not able to attend the Museum show, or if you are kicking yourself for not buying something you saw, please stop by and visit me at the Brooklyn Expo- 72 Noble Street, Brooklyn, NY.
Please see the link below for a complimentary ticket. If you are out of town, please share the link with your friends and family. There’s a opening party on Friday night, with music, food and drink. I’d love to celebrate with you.

New adventures in clay: I am debuting a new shape, a new use, new clay, and new challenges at the Spanish restaurant La Fonda del Sol at 200 Park Ave, NY.
The challenge: To come up with a “rustic” set of taco trays in white to fit onto a 11″ wooden tray.
The result: A new “Modern Rustic” look, with creamy white glaze on porcelain clay enhanced with grog, 6 oz. quarter bowls with a center bowl that fits 4″ soft tacos (wood tray not included). Better seen in person. The chef treated me to tacos there and they were delicious!
