Mini moon jar + bud vases

These small vases are perfect for your garden cuttings or bouquet form the florist.

I am exploring different combinations and methods to get colors from wood firing. On these porcelain vases, I added silica sand and grog to “catch” the flame and ash.

This collection of wood-fired pieces are fired  in noborigama for over 40 hours and reduce cooled. Some are refied in the electric kiln to brighten up the surface.
