Yunomi 2

This sipper is made with porcelaneous stoneware and Custer feldspar to give it “star burst” effect. A thick layer of porcelain slip applied as a finger paint and blue underglaze inscribed on the side. No glaze applied and fired in a train kiln to show off the volatile flying ash in the kiln so each piece is unique. It is all depending on the location in the kiln. This particular one is a bit oval shaped caused by the flame and the draft moving through in the kiln.
